St. Albans Sleepout
Thank you to everyone who kindly sponsored me on the Sleepout outside St Albans Abbey on the night of 2nd December
(and yes, I did get rather wet!). I am now collecting the sponsorship money but would welcome any late donations. I am
hoping to send the Stevenage Haven a cheque for about £180.
Christmas Fayre and Tree Festival
A note of thanks to everyone who decorated the trees, ‘manned’ the stalls, or supported the Christmas Tree Festival at St Mary’s Church
on 3rd December. An amazing £2,403 was raised. In the last 2 months, incredibly, almost £5,000 has been raised for St Mary’s church!
Everyone deserves a ‘pat on the back’ for all that they have contributed in whatever way to help maintain this ancient building - a
fantastic achievement!
