Making Sense of Advent
What have old clothes, a baby’s feeding bottle and a broken wine bottle to do with Christmas? To find out, spend 20 minutes in The Poppy Room (Benington Village Hall) on three Coffee Mornings leading up to Christmas. The dates are:

All sessions start at 10.30am. These reflections are intended for people of any faith or none. Cost of admission: an open heart and open mind.
St Mary's Christmas Tree Festival
Festive Fare: 7-9pm
Enjoy a light supper with a glass of mulled wine and judge the trees. With a tombola, raffle, home produce, gift stalls. Tickets are £6 from Eleanor Waldock (861206) or on the door.
Tree Festival: 7-9pm
Tea and mince pies, Christas produce and gift stalls, tombola, raffle and childrens stall.
Advent Procession St. Albans Abbey
3rd December 6.30pm
There will be a coach going to St. Albans Abbey for this inspirational service. The coach will leave Walkern Post Office at 4.45pm and the back of Waitrose in Stevenage at 5.00pm, returning after the service.
